Configuration

1. Plug in the cable in the Scifeon InstrumentHub
2. Configure the HubDevice in Scifeon and use the preset configuration
3. Reconnect the cable in the Scifeon InstrumentHub
4. Plug the cable in the instrument
5. From the homepage, click the settings icon the bottom right corner
6. Click the menu item “Connections”
7. Click the menu item “Interfaces”
8. Click the menu item “COM-RS232 interface”
9. Configure the interface
   • Protocol: SBI
   • Baudrate: 9600
   • Databits: 8
   • Stop bits: 1
   • Parity: None
   • Handshake: None
10. Navigate back to the “Connections” menu
11. Click the menu item “SBI protocol”
12. Configure Protocol
    • Format: Value with header
    • Output: With stability
    • Automatic Output: 1s
13. Attempt to make a reading.
