Exercise 1: Create a New Sample
Objective: Create a single sample manually.
Steps:
- Navigate to the Samples module.
- Click 'Add' to open the sample creation form.
- Fill in the required fields:
- Sample Type
- Sample ID or let the system auto-generate
- Owner or associated Project
- Save the sample record. Expected Result: A new sample appears in the sample list with 'Created' status.
Exercise 2: Register a Sample Using a Template
Objective: Use a preconfigured template to create a sample.
Steps:
- In the Samples module, locate and select a predefined template.
- Click 'Use Template' to open the sample form.
- Adjust or complete any necessary fields.
- Save the sample.
Expected Result: The new sample should reflect the template's metadata.
